Extension to Chowley Oak Employment Area (Class B1 and B8)
After the 4th paragraph of the reason/explanation it should read.
Reason/Explanation
The extension to Chowley Oak Employment area needs to be linked to environmental traffic
management improvements in Clutton village to minimise the impact of any additional traffic
using the back lanes between Chowley Oak and the village. A development brief will be
produced for the site and will include: height limitations on the buildings to ensure the
development fits into the landscape: landscaping and tree planting on the south side of
Chowley Lane to provide screening of the development: traffic calming measures and
improvement of the junction of Chowley Lane and the A41. The brief will also include a
requirement for an environmental impact assessment to be carried out on the site. For
Chester Gates see also Para 3.269 in the Green Belt Section in the Chapter on The
Environment.
