INDICATIVE DWELLING NUMBERS FROM ALLOCATED HOUSING SITES
   
1. This Appendix gives an indication of the number of dwellings that it has been assumed will be delivered from each site allocated in the Plan. The way in which these numbers have been calculated is explained in para. 14 of Appendix 1.
2. The column headed 'Total Indicative Dwellings' is the total number of dwellings from the site. It may include dwellings already completed prior to 31st March 2004, dwellings assumed to be completed between 1st April 2004 and mid 2006, and dwellings assumed to be completed after mid-2006.
3. The column headed 'Indicative Dwellings Between April '04 and Mid '06 is the number of dwellings assumed to be completed during the remainder of this 'Plan period', 1st April 2004 to mid 2006.
4. The column headed 'Indicative Dwellings after Mid 06' is the number of dwellings assumed to be completed after this 'Plan period' where relevant.
5. In the column headed 'B/G', 'B' means 'Brownfield', which is an abbreviated term for 'Previously Developed Land' as defined in PPG3 'Housing'. 'G' means 'Greenfield'. Where a site is a mixture of these two, it has been classified according to the predominant one of these two categories.
6. The column headed 'Net Density', refers to the expected net density of each site. This calculation is based on assumed gross to net ratios for different site sizes as set out in 'Tapping the Potential - Assessing Urban Capacity; Towards Better Practice' (DETR, 2000). These densities have also been worked out taking account of other considerations such as site constraints and the planning status of the site.
